The Business Mission to the United States of America aims to:

  • Provide participants with information about the market and the specificities of the sector;
  • Identify potential business partners with the profile desired by the participants;
  • Promoting and scheduling B2B meetings, promoting face-to-face meetings;
  • Supporting the assessment of conditions for establishing business in the market.

In preparation for the mission, a series of actions will be carried out to boost the success of the mission, namely:

  • A meeting was held with each participant to gather information, set specific objectives and define the type of contacts to be approached;
  • Creation of a database with relevant contacts for participants;
  • Making contacts to promote companies on the market;
  • Encouraging the scheduling of meetings (2 to 3 per participating company);
  • Preparing the trip to the market by characterizing the US entities and defining the program and meeting agendas;

During the Mission, we foresee:

  • Regular updates on developments during the approach;
  • Coordination and physical monitoring of the mission;
  • Support for communication and negotiation between the parties;
  • Individualized follow-ups with US entities to assess their interest in doing business with the companies they met.
